1. Sway to Holiday Tunes
The Bellagio Fountains shift gears, switching out their typical tunes for some holiday favorites like “Santa Baby” and “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.” Feeling a little chilly? Starting December 2nd, head inside and take a peek at the Bellagio Conservatory, 14,000 sq. feet of Holiday Glamour. The beautiful winter themed wonderland will be around until January 6.
2. Stroll Through the Sweetest and Brightest Garden
Your holidays are sure to be merry and bright this season with the ultimate Vegas tradition, Ethel M Chocolates’ 24th Holiday Cactus Garden Lights. Over one million holiday LED lights illuminate the beautiful botanical garden from sundown to 10 p.m., November 7th through New Year’s Day. Bring the family for an evening of free, festive, sweet fun, including hot cocoa made with real chocolate shavings, photos with Santa, holiday chocolate tastings, and their first ever Holiday Skating Rink.
3. Take a Seat at a Classic Holiday Show
Broadway comes to the heart of Downtown Las Vegas with Nevada Ballet Theater’s The Nutcracker. Come along as Clara and her Nutcracker Prince dance between the borders of imagination and reality. This traditional holiday favorite comes to the Smith Center on December 9 with nightly shows all the way through Christmas Eve. And don’t forget to support the non-profit with a sweet box of chocolates
4. Ride Through a Sparkling Speedway
Take to the track for the Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway starting November 10. The glitzy lights are a family favorite, sure to leave all in a state of awe. Tickets range from $20 to $70. Don’t miss out on the new Santa Tram, with $35 per person, enjoy hot cocoa, kettle corn, pictures with Santa and much more.
5. Bring the Family to a Festive Forest
Saunter through the Magical Forest from November 24th through December 31st. Vegas’ favorite charity, Opportunity Village comes alive with millions of sparkling lights, nightly entertainment, great food and endless holiday cheer!
6. Sleigh, Ski, or Snowboard in the Canyons
For some traditional winter fun, take a short drive to Mt. Charleston’s Lee Canyon for Winter Outdoors. Spend the days surrounded by glistening pine trees, fresh powder and fun winter activities. The slopes will be open Monday through Sunday on 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
